Available for holiday lets all year round, ‘Helenslea’ is a well appointed, freshly decorated, ground-floor apartment in central St Andrews, ‘The Home of Golf’.

Owners Ronnie and Vivien Cairns know the area well and will be on hand should you need any advice.

Forming part of a Edwardian Terrace, built in 1909, the flat is light-filled and airy, and comprises a spacious lounge/dining room, one large twin bedded room with en suite shower, and two small double bedrooms, sharing a bathroom (with over bath shower). The compact kitchen is equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, and is well stocked with crockery, cutlery and cooking requirements.

Bed linen and towels are provided, by arrangement, and the cost includes all utilities. A Welcome Pack of tea, coffee, milk, bread and biscuits is supplied on arrival.

At the back door, is a private courtyard garden – a suntrap when we do have fine weather!

‘Helenslea’ is situated just two minutes’ walk from St Andrews town centre, with its beautiful medieval buildings, including a 13th century castle and cathedral, and famous 15th century University, (with 8,000 students swelling the population in term time). A highly acclaimed modern theatre, cinema, leisure centre, museums, art galleries, a myriad of fascinating small shops, numerous restaurants, coffee shops and bars, are all in easy strolling distance. The apartment is also just a ten minute walk from the world renowned Old Course, and Royal & Ancient Golf Clubhouse, making it an ideal base for golfers - the area encompasses 11 great golf courses within a 5 mile radius!

St Andrews also boasts two magnificent beaches (‘Chariots of Fire’ was filmed on one of them),an ancient harbour, a Sealife Centre, some idyllic rural walks, parks, putting greens, tennis courts, a sailing club, and is within a twenty minute drive from the quaint fishing villages of the East Neuk.

To Rent 'Helenslea' costs £125 per night, (not per person!) depending on length of stay (3 nights minimum), and time of year.
